Yep.. Here it is 4 AM and I'm going to call it a night.
I did manage to get the girls bathroom under control. Their nasty, seldom washed, never hung up to dry towels are in the wash. Their clothes that they wore yesterday are in the wash. They have clean clothes on after their showers and are in bed after eating dinner.
My day starts early with making sure I get up to make sure they have breakfast and lunch before I have to leave the house for the afternoon. Then I'll be home to make them dinner then I have to leave again for an evening engagement. So, I guess baths and bed will have to wait until I get home from that. In cleaning their bathroom, I found out that they have no shampoo. No clue how the one I bought them just last weekend is empty already (unless they have been pouring it directly down the drain)... but that might explain why their hair is always so greasy.. even though they guarantee me that they have been washing it. I just can't believe that I have to go in and watch my girls shower to make sure that they wash correctly. BUT it just might come to that. I guess it is micromanagement time with them. Ridiculous at their ages!!!
But I guess I'll go get my few hours of sleep before my Saturday begins. Thank Goodness my husband will be home from the middle east this Sunday. I need someone on my side in this battle. Someone who can tag me out so that I can get a little rest. Maybe someone who can take me away from all of this.... even if just for dinner. I need a vacation. Badly.
