IF you think the British are obsessed by the weather, try the Spaniards. The tv forecast programmes put anything we do to shame. It can be volatile, and the forecasts can be wrong - it can be very localised. Last week we were forecast thunderstorms which never materialised - although I took this picture from our front door of lightning in the clouds on Tuesday night

But we heard no thunder and there was no rain - but 50 miles or so north of us there was substantial flooding for a torrential storm in Alicante and Calpe.
But there are also the sunsets on good days when there are some clouds

And the cranes show that the economy is improving and they are starting to build again!!!
