When I said I had been spoilt for holidays this summer, I wasn’t joking! At the end of August we went to France for a long weekend and stayed in Amy’s family’s mill house. I didn’t really know what to expect, when Paul first invited me I said that I wouldn’t be able to afford to go but he said that he wouldn’t want to go without me so he paid for me again! It was really lovely, the house and the area was beautiful and Paul’s friends are awesome. Amy is super glam so I did feel a bit self-conscious because Paul had told me to just bring casual clothes but everyone made me feel really welcome.
Some photos…
The view from the Ferry leaving Poole

Amy and Shiner had arrived on the Wednesday and then we arrived with Dave on Thursday evening and had a barbecue and some wines
See what I mean? Beaut!

Dave found a broomstick!

Paul hates my Birkenstocks with a passion! But I love them!

Out for lunch on Friday

So pretty!

I really like this photo, I think Paul looks extra handsome!

The house!

Lots of wine was drunk

And lots of sausage was eaten :)

I played my first ever full game of monopoly and didn’t lose!

On Saturday the weather was beautiful and we all went for a cycle
We found a see-saw!

Cycling selfie!

I got a flat tyre which is why Paul is wearing an inner tube!

The (padded) cycling shorts under denim shorts is not the best look but they saved my bottom!
