The days are falling into fall in the day

The wind & rain brought down leaves..I am afraid they will all fall before they change colors....I have a hickory nut tree that every year is beautiful..its gold colored leaves stands out from all the other trees…well 9 days of rain means get the john deere out this afternoon…cut the grass which has
gotten tall..On face book I said my status was thinking about old memories to day…fall brings back a lot of memories I run from some but others put up a pretty good fight.......to hang around........

My daughter is from Thailand and this is her first year experiencing FALL. I explained the trees sleeping through the cold of Winter and all. She has never experienced that in Thailand. Always green and fruit growing. A co-worker brought his new Thai wife home around this time of year and she was horrified! "OMG! What is wrong with trees? They are all dying!!" lol. it's a whole new world here in America.

Shes liking it already. Kids take to new experiences easily. it took her mom 10 years to stop whining about cold rain, bare trees and colder snow! Now she "accepts" Fall and Winter, LOVES Spring and our summers are 'cool but bearable'. heh-heh
