Hell has frozen over. I got a new job. It was actually the first place that had called me in for an interview since I started looking back in January. The company has been distributing physical media to libraries for years and have launched an app that is a lot like a free Netflix. You loggin with your library card and then can rent movies, tv shows, music, and audiobooks for free. They're actually doing quite well.

My title is Content Acquisition Coordinator. A lot of it is moving files around, but I also get to contact large media companies, hold onboarding calls, and other fun stuff. While it's not exactly what I want to be doing, it is working with media and I'm gaining lots of experience. It's definitely a step in the right direction with a growing company.

I'll hear back in September on if anything will happen with happen with the script I submitted to the Austin Film Fest. It might be a pipe dream, but it is possible it could get picked up or I could get some kind of job offer. If that doesn't happen I'm going to start looking for apartments in Toledo. I don't want to stay here, but if I am, living on my own again is the next immediate goal of mine. We'll see what happens. It'll be tight with my ridiculous student loans, but I think I could do it.

I guess that's it for now.
