I really need to be writing reviews right now, but at the moment, I'm working on getting caught up on ratings, and laughing myself silly over the comedy channel. Yes, I do laugh on occasion. Now reading The Aftermath by Rhidian Book, set in postwar Germany. Ok so far, but I'm not wildly impressed. So far, I'm probably going to give it three stars -- average.

J brought home pizza tonight, the sort that is rectangular, and it's not bad at all.

I hope that I can do some baking this weekend. Scones or cake or something. I am craving something sweet tonight. Sigh. But I also don't want to mess up the kitchen, either -- it is -finally- clean after yesterday, and I just want to enjoy the moment that I don't have to stand over that damn sink scrubbing away. If we ever get that kitchen remodeled, I'm holding out for a dishwasher to be installed. Especially as J will not do dishes. I could wring his neck for that, but I don't have a choice on that.

Every time that I've gone away, he's never done the dishes. Or scrubbed floors. Or bathroom. I guess he figures little magic elves appear when the lights go out at night.
