Limited in Life and musings of an old mom-to-be

I walked to pilates today (about 30 min), then did 60 min of actual pilates, walked 15 to the subway station, went to the closest mall … shopped for about two hours… and that was IT.

Apparently I overdid it. Or maybe Daniel just decided to get more comfortable down there. All I know is–I could barely walk. The adductor tendon pain was terrible! Especially on the left side. Each step was excruciating. I couldn’t even make it back to the subway station. Had to take a taxi. My mom was impressed and a little worried. I was impressed too–so much stupid pain in such little time!

Had to rest all afternoon before I could move like a halfway normal human being again. Good thing the pain went away (on the most part). I was kinda worried for a while there, that it might be like this from here on. I’m 36 weeks, true–but I couldn’t live like this for an entire month!

In other news, I have my fifth baby shower tomorrow :). With med school friends. We’re celebrating 10 years post graduation. Can’t believe it’s been so long! Seems like yesterday! I’ll try to post some before/after pics tomorrow (or the day after, let’s be realistic). And tomorrow morning I get my car’s rear bumper fixed…yay! So I can drive around freely again.
