Superbowl grub, really after the fact in Whole 30/post w30 eating

I’m a little late, but I made the Clothes Make the Girl’s Chocolate Chili for the Super Bowl. I subbed turkey for beef because I’d been eating a lot of beef last week, and I didn’t have any of the chili spices (the cumin, chili powder, or all spice), so I used Ras el Hanout since it has most of those things in it already and a little bit of paprika. Here’s the pic in case you’re in poorly taken food pic withdrawal:

I had it over a baked sweet potato. And yes, that’s cornbread on the side because my whole30 is over and I really wanted it. FYI: it wasn’t worth it. I should’ve made homemade cornbread if I wanted it that badly, but I didn’t feel like buying all the ingredients and then baking it. I even made the chili on Saturday so I wouldn’t have to cook anything but the potato on Sunday.

Post whole30 eating has been mostly on plan, but not totally. It’s been pretty rocky, honestly. Any half assed plan I may have had totally went out the freaking window after that cornbread. I’m going to keep winging it until after Callie’s birthday lunch this weekend, then tighten back up. Probably not full compliance because I want to eat through some of the non compliant food I have lying around, but not as out of control as I’ve felt this week. No nibbling and back to following the meal template.

LoL....they're Callie's, and I actually hate them. I think it's something about the colors...they just don't make me feel good. I'd be happy to send them to you! I'll tell Callie they all "broke," haha!!
