when we see ruling like the SCOTUS same sex marriage verdict, we tend to get a lot of people discussing religion.

notably in this case, it is the bible. some say that the bible goes against same sex marriage and defines marriage as being between a man and a woman. and not really knowing the bible, i am unsure if this is true. it may very well say so.

but i’ve also been told that the bible talks about the multitude of things that people can be put to death for. however, these do not seem to be adhered to or publicly discussed.

it is interesting to see which portions people believe in. i’d be curious to hear why this is so specifically called out, but other parts seem to be forgotten.
