The last year has an adventure that has been and is life these days

No regrets about the Great Leap from Portland.

Springtime is glorious around Clear Lake. We are between the Inner and the Outer Coast Ranges, in Northern California, with Mt. Konocti, a cone volcano, right on the southeastern shore of the Lake.

Three of the biggest fires in California were in this area last summer. Roads were closed, some places were evacuated, and air tankers were constantly overhead - and LOW.

Lake County is known as having some of the cleanest air in the United States. It never did get very smoky here, but the Central Valley and the Sierras were full of smoke.

I turned 54 last week, and ya know, this life has been an adventure most of the way.

Onwards.
