A boy!! we are having a baby boy! i had a slight twinge of disappointment at first (i really thought we were having a girl) but then i got excited because there arent that many boys on my side of the family. my father is super excited to have a grandson. he produced all girls and my sister had a girl as well, so hes ready for a little testosterone lol.
my husband is also very excited. he said he was also a little disappointed. he wanted to have a daddy’s girl and be a total mush lol. but we’re having a boy! getting ready for blues and greens and trucks and sports and all things boy. i dont want to go too overboard on the boy things, but it is difficult when they are little. everything you can get is very gender specific.
now comes the great name search! we have a few we like, but arent crazy about. nothing seems to fit right now. so, we’re going to keep looking and listening and searching for a great name. our problem is we dont want anything too hispanic. im a whole mix of eastern european white and my husband is puerto rican. so we want a “white” name to go with his “hispanic” last name. (i dont know how else to put it on here) something not common, but not something insane. so we’re a little stuck with the name, but it will come in time. we have until november to pick something out.
so hurray for baby boy! so excited and very ready to start nesting. i really need to start picking up diapers and wipes and some basic things that i wont get at my shower, but to start stocking up. later everyone!
