At the start of the year I joined a group though my knitting boards (gotta love Raverly!) where you purchase a genuine Moleskin sketch book, pick a theme and send it around the world for a year. At the end of the year it comes back to you in a box filled with goodies!
Presently I have had 4 books grace my presence. The first two I was able to get out without a hitch. These next two are a bit tougher for me to get through. I have the artist’s version of writer’s block.
Each book has a theme - one is your devotion to your God through favourite chuch/prayer hymns. The other is inspirational songs that get you through.
With my current situation that I am in I feel like God is playing some cruel trick on me (again) and songs that get me through? Well, Carrie Underwood’s “Before he cheats” is on constant repeat in my head.
I don’t feel like burdening these wonderful people with my so-called-life. However, I do feel stuck at what to place in these beautiful books. Suggestions anyone? I’m totally open as I have a complete blank......
Why do I continue to get stuck with people who take advantage of my sincerity and trust??
