TS3 Supernatural in The Sims

I’m playing with the new world of Moonlight Falls that came with the Supernatural expansion pack and fell in love. I’m playing a witch named Aubrey Oviedo. The only thing I hate about Supernatural is the werewolves. I wish it would just transform the Sim into a wolf that would be great but these hairy beasts are annoying, rude, and destructive. I don’t find ANY of that fun.

Aubrey when I met her and was still a fairy.

This is Aubrey after her witch makeover.

Aubrey comes from a very old fairy family; her parents are Sandy and Victor Oviedo.

She loved her parents dearly but they passed on not long after Aubrey gave up her fairy magic. She was always worried that they never forgave her forsaking her fairy heritage. If only she knew there was nothing to forgive.

She lives in a house called Salem's Lot.

It has an ample beautiful backyard.

Since she's a witch Aubrey has a feline familiar, Lily, who she adores.

Aubrey in her basement researching alchemy (the game's magic skill).

Trying to do some transforming spells.

And some poisoned apple summoning.

This is Aubrey in her mortal disguise. Every day. Because she's an ex-fairy she has pointy ears just like her parents and their parents before them.

And her mortal formal disguise.

Aubrey heads off at the broom arena to try out some of her trick moves.

At home she thought she heard something strange outside so went to investigate. What did she find? Just the ugliest zombie ever to walk Moonlight Falls' streets. The zombie tried attacking Aubrey but she deflected with a fire burst. Ugly Sim is rather stupid as well since she doesn't seem to realize her butt is on fire.

Unfortunately the fire did not kill the ugly, stoopid zombie. It only charred her so now there's an angry, cooked zombie on Aubrey's lawn.

That didn't phase Aubrey until she turned around to be faced with a zombie fairy. It was time to run into the house!

She left the next morning to get a job as a fortune teller working in Gypsy Glen.

You know you live in Moonlight Falls when the pizza delivery dude arrives to your house on a broom.

You also know you live in Moonlight Falls when you're being burgled and the police officer that shows up is a fairy.

There are a few werewolf families in Moonlight Falls. Their name is Wolff so I'm wondering if they are meant to be related to Morgana and Thorton Wolff from Sunset Valley even though they aren't on each other's family trees.

Fairies have two sizes they can choose from for their bodies. They can be full sized Sims or they can become wee sprites of light. This is a sprite of light being drawn to the moodlight that also came with Supernatural.

The small fairy form can sleep in a little huts known as fairy homes. Their sprite form isn't very useful except for sleeping though.

This is La Shove Beach a play on the beach in Twilight called La Push.

This is Bailey and Chester Swain. A not-so-subtle reference to Bella and Charlie Swan. Poor form, Maxis, poor form.

This is the town of Moonlight Falls or part of it. It encompasses a lot of land so it's hard to get an entire picture of it and still keep some good detail in the screen shot.

A few of the new plants available from this ex-pack. Red Toadstools, Glow Orbs, Truffles, White Cap Mushrooms, and Spotlight Mushrooms.

Meet the Merry Maid, Bonehilda! You may have notice she isn't a true Sim but more a slave NPC. She's kind of neat though. Bonehilda, for some unknown reason, makes me miss the awful Mrs. Crumplebottom from the Night Life EP for The Sims 2. I loved how she took her purse and beat the shit out of any Sim couple showing PDA. She was a riot! I wrote a story about her once.

A neat little addition with this game is a rocking horse for kids. It is super adorable to watch them play on it.

Aubrey's favourite mode of transportation is on her great-grandmother's magically possessed vacuum cleaner. Who needs brooms? Great-grandmother Aggie was actually the first fairy in her family to give up the fairy magic and become a witch. Aubrey is the second fairy to become a witch.

If her vacuum is in need of repairs her second fave form of transpo is the LLAMA which stands for Lightning Leap Atomic Molecular Arranger. It's meant to be a spoof of Doctor Who's TARDIS which stands for Time And Relative Dimension In Space. And no, I did not have to look that up because I am a Whovian.

That's it for now! Until next time, happy simming!
