This was a whirlwind of a weekend, transpiring amid a flu-confused fog… And it went something like this:
- Thursday night: Assembly. I still have to explain this… maybe next time. It’s too late today, the whole thing is too long and hard to explain.
- Friday:
- 8:30: meeting with doorman who was threatening to leave (I’ll explain that too).
- 9:00: bank and cat food/litter run.
- 10:00: house call. I hate house calls as a general rule, and try not to make them, but there’s a few sweethearts I can’t say no to. Especially since I know they really can’t get out. This particular one I don’t even charge.
- 11:00: health insurance run.
- 12:30 - 2:30 pm: second attempt at getting a 3D shot at my babe. He REFUSED to show himself. So frustrating!
- 2:50 pm: quickie lunch before private practice.
- 3:00: private practice.
- 4:00: heading home for a well deserved-nap. My flu-addled head couldn’t take any more.

  • Saturday:
    • 9:30: getting up. Dishes and laundry.
    • 11:00: yoga.
    • 12:00: supermarket.
    • 1:00 pm: crib delivery. Good thing I was there, cos the box was heavy.
    • 1:30 pm: lunch.
    • 2:00 - 4:00 pm: condo and assembly stuff. Zillion emails to read, reply, send and so forth.
    • 4:00 - 5:00 pm: ransacking through someone else’s storeroom. A neighbor was clearing out and had things they thought could help out at work. They did.
  • 5:00 - 7:00 pm: more condo and assembly stuff.
  • 7:00 pm: sore and exhausted from flu & yoga, I decide to put myself down for the night.

Sunday:
- 10:30 am: get up (whoops).
- 11:00 - 1:00 pm: clear spare room to turn into nursery.
- 1:00 pm: lunch.
- 2:00 - 4:00 pm: start putting crib together. It’s harder than it looks!
- 4:00: visit colleague at Cemetery. Can’t believe it’s been two years since he passed :(.
- 5:00 - 6:30 pm: shopping. NOT clothes. More like home depot stuff.
- 6:30 - 7:30 pm: hairdresser. My roots needed coloring. A lot of it.
- 7:30 - 9:30 pm: more work on the crib. Still got a lot to go.
- 9:30 - 10:00 pm: cooking. Dishes.
- 10:00: dinner. Too late for its own good AND by now I’m hungry AGAIN.
- 10:30 - 12:00 am: more assembly stuff.
- 12:00: writing this entry.

Ok enough. Good night! ‘Tis monday tomorrow.
