Took my oldest grandson fishing last Friday. We went in a marsh called Lacassine reserve. Put him the front of the boat and just sat back and watched. Very entertaining. he had a blast. He caught some nice Bluegills and Chinquepins. These are bream type of fish. He sat up there and caught about 50- 75 fish and just made my day. He enjoyed himself and delighted this old bird too. Brought about 20 of the biggest home and I fillet’ed them for Him to cook at home. This was a WOW! morning for me. Truly blessed to see this fellow having a good time. Good times like these make memory’s that last for a life time. Oh yeah! I caught a few too.
Raining here this morning. Thunderstorms and lightening everywhere. Been raining a lot this year. To much fresh water in rivers and bays. So much I haven’t even bothered to go salt water fishing. Just not worth the mess.. Other grandson had a game last night. The boys He is playing with this year or 13-14 year olds. Some of them tower over him by a foot or so. We won the game big time. Had a couple of home runs too. My guy dribbled to the pitcher, struck out, and walked and scored a run. We went home at 9 pm and they was still going. Papaw needs His rest. I get up real early every morning. Frustrates me cause when I can sleep in I can’t. I always wake up at the same time every morning. {bummer} Well that is about it.
Friends pray for me. I am seeking guidance on a real touchy issue involving an inmate where I minister jail church services.
