LETTERMEN'S LAST in AWAKEN

I grew up on DAVID LETTERMEN and JOHNNY CARSON, both were funny, both are entertaining, and both are hardly seen outside what they do on t.v..............in 1992 I saw JOHNNY step down from THE TONIGHT SHOW after hosting it for 30 years.................that a very long time, especially for a host, and now I’m going to do it again, come MAY 20TH, DAVID LETTERMEN will step down as the host of LATE NIGHT after 33 years of hosting, and it span three decades and two different TV stations, he once was the shoe in to take over for JOHNNY CARSON, but the TV GODS didn’t agree, and Dave took his ball to CBS, where is was the host of his own late night show and never missed a beat. In the world of late night talk shows, younger is what people want, and flashy, out-of-control host, people like JIMMY FALLON, JIMMY KIMMEL,AND JAMES CORDON, David is THE LAST OF THE LATE HOST COWBOYS( yeah, I said cowboy) and it will be a sad day in television, yeah some of you could care less that he leaving tv for good, and yes some don’t even know who DAVID LETTERMEN is...........well he a funny man, a quiet man, a man that for 33 years brought on guest, friends, hell even his mother to his show, he a guy that was pushed out of a job that he been wanting since he first met JOHNNY CARSON and was stabbed in the back when they gave it to JAY LENO( he a funny man too) and he has endured heart surgery, shingles, a failed kidnapping( some wiseass was going to kidnap his son, so stupid), a late night war, and last but not least..........9/11, so some will watch Dave make his last rounds as THE LAST LATE NIGHT COWBOY( yes, I said it again) and some will not watch at all...........but for me, this is DEJU, 23 years ago I watch Johnny take his last round, so why not give DAVE the same respects...................because after he gone, the whole late night picture will never be the same...................I’m going to miss you Mr. Lettermen, with no TOP TEN, WHERE WILL I BEGIN?????????????SO SAY WE ALL.
