I’ve never understood it before. It was so frustrating. Not like anyone could blame me. Every math teacher I had looked as though math was a soul crushing chore. So why should I want to do it?
My current teacher, Yapo, gets excited about doing it. He makes me want to learn math. One day he was doing fractions on the board and his pupils dilated. At first I thought he was on something then I realized he enjoys doing math. It gives him a rush. I wanted to know that feeling.
We are on signed numbers. I do the homework first for the grade and go through the study plan on mathlab 2-3 times before a test. It gives me a whole new problem for each one, every refresh so it is limitless. Tonight I’m taking the test and today will be the 5th time I’ve run through the study plan…
I’m starting to like math. Legit. As I’m sitting here now writing this post I want to open up lab and work some problems.
The harder the problems get, the more excited I feel. It gives me a rush. Last night I was doing doing some freaky equations (for me anyways, for math wizzes it may be a walk in the park) and it was so intense. it was like a high.
I had a mathgasm.
