deep we wade in waters black
know not where thee seek
dark it is the traveled trail
like terrors of our sleep

told as child to find the light
fears of dark to keep
joyous day and dreaded night
darks shadows come to reap

follow me from solid shore
wet dark and cold we’ll be
stark bright a life shall be no more
an onyxed shade of free

In the end is just begin
and na’er shall ever be
freedom from humanities
darkened, blackened sea

wade in deep in Words that Rhyme
