Last Thursday planted some tomatoes and cucumbers. Friday deluge of water. Saturday 3 cucumber plants beat down from rain and died. We just can’t seem to dry out. Ground is so rotten. Can’t cut the grass or Mow as some say. Around the barn is a total mess. I am depressed simply because it is so wet. Can’t do anything outside. Spend a lot of time tying Crappie jigs. Don’t know why just love doing it. Don’t need any, probably have a couple of hundred tied up. Enough to last me a few years. Maybe I can start a web site and sell a few. Wish I had a camera that could take pictures and post them on F/B and here. Get a few mail orders started. been selling some at flea markets and farmers markets.
Rain is keeping me form fishing on my days off. Rains every time it is my turn to be off. Bummer for sure.
On other news, well really there is none. Everybody in my family working and working. Healthy and doing good. We are blessed and protected by a loving God. I could use your prayers for my back. I have a pinched nerve that flares up every now and then. I am trying to avoid back surgery. But, sometimes the pain gets to be pretty bad down the back of my left leg. Any home remedy’s for this? I am praying God will heal it with out surgery. So Pray for me. Sometimes it makes it hard to just walk and go up stairs. Ok enough. Love you and God loves you. Do you know why you love God? Because He first loved you.
Let me leave you with this. If you love God, it is with no love of your own, but with the love that He has planted in your heart. Un-renewed human nature is a soil in which love for God will not grow naturally. Rock has to be removed so a supernatural change of barren ground can become good soil. As a rare plant, love must be planted in your heart and sustained by divine power, or else it never will be found there. Love of God is created and formed in the soul by the Love of God.
