A) What does the last text you sent say?

Tally on sofa not eating or drinking because it hurts, Lila had another bath and up and about. I have first run back ache but not too bad. Ily x

B) What does the last text you received say?

Hi all Josh has a new phone but has lost all contacts. Please can you call or text him so he has your numbers please. Thanks x

this is completely unnecessary because I do not know Josh. I think he’s a local childminder’s son and she must have sent out a blanket text!

C) What time do you wake up most mornings?

For work my alarm goes at 6:45. During the school holidays so far it has been 6:30 so that I can run before Rich goes to work. I don’t like to lie in even on days that I can because it induces lethargy.

D) Are you afraid of walking alone at night?

I’ve lived in many areas of two large cities through my life. I’ve travelled the last tube and night buses in London, parked and gone clubbing in dodgy areas of Jacksonville and I was always confident. Walk tall, and be aware of your surroundings. I never listened to music on headphones and always knew where the shadows were and what they were doing. But this was the nineties as prosperity came to the world. Yeah, I used to hand over $5 to a guy in Jacksonville who would “make sure nothing bad happened to the car” when we went clubbing but I never felt unsafe.
Now, with so many years of recession people are more desperate. I only run in the mornings now, if it’s dark. I feel safer in the early dark than the late dark.

E) What do you do to relax at the end of a stressful day?

It depends on my mood. I may read or have a bath. Sometimes I will watch telly.

F) Where did your last kiss take place and with whom?

Rich left for work while I was stretching this morning (after my run) and kissed the top of my head. I was in the living room. We did have some full on snogging on Sunday in the kitchen.

G) Do/did you get into trouble a lot at school?

No, I was too scared!

H) Do you enjoy your job? If unemployed, are you content being so?

Yes, I work in a school and I love it.

I) Do you often pick up on double entendres and innuendos?

I usually give them… Bwah haha!

J) Have you ever been offered drugs but declined?

Yes. In the club Space in Ibiza. Rich and I asked if we wanted anything to enhance our visit, we told him we were sorted (we hadn’t had anything other than San Miguel beer but it was an easy answer).

K) Have you ever met someone who has completely altered your way of thinking?

I like to think I have an open mind and I have changed my opinion on things when someone has given me a good enough argument. But nothing stands out particularly. Everyone we meet add a little bit to who we are

L) Have you ever been offered drugs and accepted?

Yes. In my youth at parties and in Amsterdam.

M) Tell us something weird that turns you on.

Ummm… Nothing weird, I don’t think. Not necessarily vanilla bit not out of ordinary.

N) When did someone last admit romantic or sexual feelings for you?

Ha!!

O) What is something you have given a lot of thought to lately?

Handwriting. I have a handwriting group at school so I’ve been planning for it.

P) When did you last swallow your beliefs to avoid an argument or confrontation?

Often. I believe everyone has the right to their beliefs irrelevant of my agreement and if they need to talk I will listen.

Q) Do you usually initiate hugs?

Hugs make the world go round. I’m a hugger :-)

R) Are you a very affectionate person?

Yes.

S) Can you roll your own cigarettes?

Yes, despite the fact that I never took up smoking!

T) What are you looking forward to?

The last few weeks I’ve been looking forward to the school break so I’m enjoying it now!

U) Do you have any tattoos. Do you want any/more?

Yes, I have (in the order that I got them) a cat on my left shoulder blade, a rose in the cat’s paws, an abstract yinyang on my left kidney area and a lizard on my right foot with a tail curling up above my ankle bone.

I really want a faerie with a daisy. I believe in faeries and daisies are my favourite flower. I’m not sure where I want it though.

V) Are you mentally strong?

Yes, although I don’t think it’s always a good thing, sometimes it makes me block off emotion as I surge through whatever I need the strength for.

W) Are you physically strong?

Sometimes!

X) Do you believe in fate or destiny?

I really don’t know.

Y) Name one thing you wish you could change about your life right now.

Either a slightly higher income or slightly less outgoings. We’re struggling to make ends meet each month.

Z) What do you usually eat for breakfast?

Porridge. Today it contains cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla essence, dried cherries and pecans. A bit luxurious but yummy. Usually it has honey on :-)
