Doris and I stopped after an AA Meeting last night at a Diner. It seemed as the entire Meeting had migrated to this place and taken over about 5 tables. A local Waitress told me she loved AA Groups because we always tipped well. We were a little loud and teased one woman who is getting engaged later this week to a fellow AAer. I heard comments like ” Two wrongos do not make a righto” and ” you may be a dented can but he will get some prime contents ” and a lot of laughter and good wished surrounded the woman.
Afterwards Doris went to her apartment and had a discussion. We both want to go into NYC after Easter. I am pushing for the Radio City Music Hall Rockets Spring Show as I have never seen one and she wants to see the play Aladen which while new will be there for years based on the reviews I have read, We did agree on a restaurant and also agreed that it is one best visited after dark, the newly renovated ” Tavern on the Green ” in Central Park. Doris tried her best to change my mind and I had a very difficult time in refusing her sweet ministrations but I did and so later in the we will resume our discussion.
