Last but by no means least is the new additions to my bike. I managed to get hold of some brand new Triumph tear drop mirrors at less than half price, so they are looking nice. And then there is the seat! The original Triumph “Long-Haul” seat was by no means comfortable for me for anything over 50 miles. It really was a pain in the ass!
So I had a guy recommended to me by several people I know, plus a few in my Facebook bike groups. Alastair Else is in a small village called Wisbech St. Mary, about 30 miles from here. So I gave him a call, told him what I wanted , after checking out his website, and the result you can see from the pics. It’s awesome! I love it. Not had chance to test the comfort out yet, due to being away and the weather , but forecast says warmer this weekend so hopefully get a chance then. I think the bike is absolutely prefect now. The only thing I need, (and should be my birthday present!) is a small fairing, that fits above the headlights, just enough to take the wind off my chest for long journeys.
So more photos!
There you go. I can’t tell you happy I am with the way she looks now!
Laters, peeps.
