This thing seems to be working again today after some very erratic loading, so it's time to update. Nothing terribly exciting happening here right now. John spent the weekend working on our friend Bill's computer and he took me to church yesterday. Saturday I cleaned the apartment because it had turned into a complete pigsty, and the cleaning seems to have given me tendonitis in both wrists. They've been complaining vigorously at me ever since, and I never even vacuumed yet! Cleaning the toilets did them in... I have a pummice stone on a stick and it's great for getting the mineral stains off the toilet bowls, but all that bending over and pushing on the bowl has killed my arms. I'm going to go and see if I can get a couple of light wrist braces this afternoon because everything hurts. Typing isn't bad because I don't move my wrists, just my fingers, but I know it's not good for me so I'm not going to be writing screeds today.
I'm going for a massage this afternoon at the new chiropractor's office near our apartment. I hope it works out for me... everyone says massage is really really good for fibro, and it certainly was when I was in physical therapy. I haven't had one since I quit therapy, because I couldn't find anyplace I could afford. This new office had a banner up that said $35 opening special, so here goes nothing... if it's helpful I'll be going back again when we can afford it.
Something funny happened at the grocery store on Sunday. The disabled spots were all full so we parked in the regular car park and I grabbed a scooter at the door... I didn't really want to scoot all the way back into the carpark (it's too slow and I don't like riding it off the sidewalk) so I asked the bagger to get another grocery cart and put my bagged groceries in there... he said 'of course' and went away, and came back riding another scooter for me. I guess he figured mine must have a flat battery...
Looking forward to our movie trip on Thursday to see The Hunger Games and Catching Fire...
