little shit's terrified of me in Day to Day

It’s Tuesday (actually it’s Thursday now, but I started writing on Tuesday) and I’m working from home today because the dragon is sick and someone had to be here to pick boy up from school. I say “working from home”, I have to confess, I’m not getting a lot done today. Yesterday I worked at home from 8 am to about 5:30 pm and I did get a lot done. So today I am taking things a bit easy. I’m not sorry. The dragon has been really unwell. She went to bed on Saturday and really only got up today. The doctor said it was a virus and to keep taking paracetamol for the fever.

In any case, I have been pretty much a single parent since Saturday morning. We managed though. I did all the shopping and the house stuff, helped the boy with his homework and got him to his kung fu lesson yesterday. I even made kedgeree, which was excellent by the way.

I got in trouble at his school today because I saw one of the other children kick my son off the play equipment. He’s a foul child and has a history of being a little thug. I shouted at him and told him if I ever saw him touch my son again he’d have me to deal with. He then went crying to his grandma and I heard him tell her I was an “idiot”. So I went storming over there pointing my finger at him and shouting, “what did you just call me?” I’m pleased to say it frightened the living shit out of him. However, grandma seems to have complained to the school about my behaviour on school grounds. They have requested that any future incidents at school be dealt with by the school, and not by me. Whatever, the little shit is terrified of me now and that was my objective.

Jeremy Clarkson the bell end and appears to have been suspended from his job presenting Top Gear. Why does anyone watch it anyway? It’s not quite clear what he’s done, but there is speculation that he punched a producer. Just can’t stay out of trouble. There is already a petition to reinstate Clarkson with 300,000 signatures.

Homoeopathy has been comprehensively trashed by the National Health and Medical Research Council in Australia. It’s getting ridiculous now. How many times does homoepathy have to fail clinical trials before the argument goes away?
