This is Will Graham-Grayson.
He is adorable. Although shy. He'd been at the local shelter since January, he was living at another shelter before that. No one wanted him because it takes him a while to warm up to people.
Because he'd been at the shelter for so long, he was free to adopt. He also came with a care package of everything he needed to go live with someone. He had food, and litter, and a litter box, and toys. The saddest thing was that the care package was dusty. They made it for him so long ago that it had had time to gather dust.
Nothing is more depressing than a cat with a dusty care package. And I have a real soft spot for the misfit pets. My two other cats are manx mixes that no one wanted because they don't have tails.
Anyway, it's been a week, and Will is still pretty skittish, but he's exploring the house and trying to make friends with the other cats. He comes up to me and demands that I pet him about a million times a day, though he doesn't like it when I approach him. That's okay. It's okay to be shy.
Shy people deserve forever homes, too.
