I call upon thee ghosts of Shakespeare and Dickens, phantoms of Lovecraft and Poe, and wraiths of Stoker and Shelley to look upon my words with favor. Guide my pen to create dreams and nightmares, to record moments of time and thought, provoking the mind and spirit of all who read my words. Know that I write not for fame or fortune, but for the love of magic. For what in this world has the power to create worlds and people, to influence emotion and thought, and to endure past time from nothing more than symbols upon the page besides a powerful car trip triggered by a skilled wizard of words?

Writing is magic.

It is the blood within my veins spilled for all to see. This is the lesson I have learned from you and one that I will spread until the final breath leaves my body.

It is with this in mind that I invite all who stumble upon this humble page to explore my creations. Comment upon what you find to me and to others, be it praise or criticism. Enjoy yourselves at my expense and in doing so find the courage within to create without fear of judgment. Let my example lead your way.
