I know there are some stupid people out there, and I know this has circulated for a few years now:
“Me and my friend are having an argument, she says that it rains in Australia but I know it can’t because obviously the rain falls to the top of the world but at the bottom of the world it wouldn’t fall to the Earth, it would fall into space… can somebody please tell us who’s right?”

What I don’t know is how there can be people that stupid with the capacity to use the internet. You hear things like the above, people referencing famous events with the completely wrong (main) person, or not understanding a simple timeline of events. How is this even possible?
I don’t care what anyone says, technological advances do not mean the human race is advancing. Some of the humans, sure. The rest of them, not so much. It’s just giving stupid people a platform to broadcast their intellectual shortcomings.
This provides me great amusement, and also great sadness. Obviously there is the instant comedic value in this:

but then there is also the realization that these are the same people that contribute to making changes in the world. These are people that vote.
