I met the plumbers back at my house at 1 PM today. They turned on the water at the meter to no result. They had to use a propane torch to thaw it out but the interior of the house still refused to give out water. They and I discussed what to do and we decided to turn the water back off and wait until Monday or Tuesday and hope we get some relief from the bitter cold. White I was at the house my car reported 1 degree and there was a 25 MPH. wind blowing. I have never seen my area somcold.
I told my son Rob that he has a house guest for another few nights. He says that am welcome to stay as long as needed.
Tomorrow I am going to dinner with Doris and then out to see 50 Shades. She has already offered her house for Saturday night.
