I could use a little of that California sun right about now. The sky has been leaden and foreboding since just after noon. The blizzard hasn’t started here yet, but it is marching this way. The local news was showing whiteout conditions down in Kittery which is only about an hour away.
I had no luck in finding a sturdy snow shovel so had to settle with one of the piece of crap shovels. As I said when I finally grabbed it “Better this than nothing.”
Plan is to stay up until midnight and do a first clear. Then to sleep, perchance to dream and not wake up without power.

The isobars here are crammed so close together. This will be one for the record books. Easily hurricane force winds on top of the snow.
