What are the 3 most important things everyone should know about you? Out and out family man, biker/motorcyclist, ardent animal lover.

Working, motorcycling, taking photos, doing puzzles, online.
List your classes in school from the ones you like the most to the ones you like the least (or if you are out of school, think of the classes you did like and didn’t like at the time).
Maths - OK, wasn’t my favourite but enjoyed some of it.
English - favourite subject. Loved it.
Sciences - Enjoyed this too. Especially Physics.
History - This was a bit of a yawn for me. We did the Industrial Revolution and I wanted to do the World Wars!
Geography - Enjoyed this a fair bit, especially map-reading.
French - hated it!
Religious Education - Hated it. Already deciding I didn’t believe what they were ramming down our throats. (ROman Catholic Secondary school!)
P.E. -some of it was Ok. Basketball and soccer were good. Hated Cross-Country and Rugby!
Metalwork - was my favourite handicraft class.
What is your biggest goal for this year? To sort out my pension so I can retire in 2 years! LOL
Where do you want to be in 5 years? Here, spending more time with my family, getting out on the bike more and taking more photos.
What stage of life are you in right now? Getting close to the knackers yard, it feels like sometimes! Advanced Middle aged!
Are you more child-like or childish? I would say child-like. The family may disagree!
What is the last thing you said out loud? Bless her. (Honey is curled up asleep on my lap and dreaming)

Have you ever taken martial arts classes? I did Jeet Kune Do when I was in the RAF. That was Bruce Lee’s own style, and did a few weeks Karate when Lee was around 7 or 8, but he lost interest in it.
Does your life tend to get better or worse or does it just stay the same? Seems to get better, apart from the body complaints! LOL
Does time really heal all wounds? No, you just learn to live with them.
How do you handle a rainy day? Depends if I have anything planned. Could be driving to an appointment. I’d go out on the bike in the wet at a push, but it’s nice to stay in and drink tea! LOL
Which is worse…losing your luggage or having to sort out tangled holiday lights? Never lost luggage, but holiday lights are a pigging nightmare!
How is your relationship with your parents? I was pretty much a mummy’s boy, but got to know my dad a lot better as I got older with my own family which I am extremely pleased about.
Will you miss them when they are gone? I just put I miss them in the last question before I saw this one!
Do you tend to be aware of what is going on around you?
I certainly try to be, especially on the bike.
What is the truest thing that you know? That this can sometimes be a very cruel world.
What did you want to be when you grew up? Always wanted to join the RAF, which I succeeded in doing.
Have you ever been given a second chance? Been let off by the cops a few times. LOL
Are you more of a giver or a taker? I’d like to think I’m primarily a giver.
Do you make your decisions with an open heart/mind? Always try to.
What is the most physically painful thing that has ever happened to you?
Skin Grafts after my bike accident in ’94.
What is the most emotionally painful thing that has ever happened to you? Losing my mum.
Who have you hugged today? Of course, a couple of times actually!
Who has done something today to show they care about you? My kids insisted I text them after I’d been to the docs to let them know I was OK!
Do you have a lot to learn? I try to learn something new every day…never ending.
If you could learn how to do three things just by wishing and not by working what would they be? How to paint , fly a plane, DIY
Which do you remember the longest: what other people say, what other people do, or how other people make you feel? How they make me feel.
What are the key ingredients to having a good relationship?
Love, honesty, trust, patience and kindness (Same as Pol)
What 3 things do you want to do before you die?
Travel more.

Sorry but to me this question doesn’t make sense.
Is there a cause you believe in more than any other cause?
I don’t think so…. I believe in several “causes”
What does each decade make you think of:
The 19..
50’s: Born in ‘57
60’s: Getting into music, primary school, growing up.
70’s: Teenage years, RAF and some fantastic memories made.
80’s: Met the love of my life, all my kids born, lots of ups and downs.
90’s: Bike accident, first attempt at nursing, recovery.
2000: 2nd attempt (successfully) at nursing, Dad died. Looking forwards.
2010s: Mum died. Lee’s accident, settling down for good (housewise!)
Which decade do you feel the most special connection to and why? Not easy to pick just one. ’70’s was so much fun, 80’s were very special for obvious reasons.
What is your favourite oldie/classic rock song? “Freebird” Lynard Skynard.
What country do you live in and who is the leader of that country? UK, Prime Minister is David Cameron, (Conservative), HRH Queen is the figurehead of the country.
If you could say any sentence to the current leader of your country what would it be? DO NOT privatise the NHS!
What’s your favourite TV channel to watch in the middle of the night? Usually listen to the radio late at night.
What Disney villain are you the most like and why? Despicable Me. Because he’s funny with it
Have you ever been a girl scout/boy scout? Was a cub Scout at 9, but then joined the Air Training Corps at 13, and stayed till I joined the RAF at 18.
If you were travelling to another continent would you rather fly or take a boat? I love flying, always have done, but I would LOVE to go on a cruise. Not gonna happen cos Dawn won’t go on one!
Why is the sky blue during the day and black at night? Sun and No sun. Earth turns round it which is why it gets dark!
What does your name mean? Paul is one of the saints names. Catholic kids nearly always had saints names.
Would you rather explore the depths of the ocean or outer space?
If I had to choose I think it would be the ocean.

Is there a movie that you love so much you could watch it everyday? * Certainly not every day, but there are a few I do watch a lot of times.
You are going to be stuck alone in an elevator for a week. What do you bring to do? iPad ( for as long as it will last!) Puzzle book, water.
Have you ever saved someone’s life or had your life saved? I have preformed CPR a few times in the hospital, and stopped bleeding at a road traffic accident, so I would like to think I saved them.*
