You know, I have to admit, I thought it’d feel the same as it did before Danny proposed but it’s really not. We’re looking at each other as HUSBAND and WIFE (cray) now. Which means we are having way more difficult and serious talks about the future. I guess now that it’s actually happening we’re not holding back any feelings, at ALL. For example, I’ve always known Danny is extremely money conscience but, now that he knows we’re going to share finances in 12 short months (well, if all goes well in the planning process), he’s up my ass about gym memberships, my income, my shopping habits, traveling… It has been something we have argued about on a weekly basis. It has been constructive and I know I could work on saving money better… It’s just a process for me. He just really wants to buy a house next March and I don’t have much money saved up. He refuses to buy a house if we don’t have 20% to put down, would be easy if he was able to get a job in Fort Worth but, now we’re set on Dallas and homes are wayyyy more pricey. Hells. Stress!

We have a lot of traveling to do this year. April we have Stagecoach, it’s a country music festival in SoCal, it’s where Coachella is held. Went there last year and it wasn’t my scene, EDM and hardcore drugs, nahh. But a Country festival in the desert, YES! Beer and sunshine, sign me up. Danny isn’t thrilled about spending $700 for flight/house/concert tix BUT I AM! I bought these tickets 10 months ago, we’re going! Then we have Cabo in May to look at wedding venues (oh did I mention we’re going to get married in MEXICO? Hopefully next February 27th, 2016. A year from tomorrow!!!). My parents are coming so after the $700 we spent (each) on flight/hotel I doubt we’ll spend much more money there. Oh, and all inclusive. SUNSHINE!!! And.. a couple more (smaller) trips throughout the rest of the year.

So pretty much I have 2 months to be swimsuit ready and 12 months to be bride ready. I haven’t worked out in 3 months (hence why Danny’s so upset with me for paying for a gym membership I don’t use). SO I canceled my boxing membership and started this Classpass thing. Y’all should look it up! You pay $79 a month and can go to hundreds of studios all over America. I’ve tried a Barre class (ballerina inspired), a dance class, a pilates class, and Tuesday I’m trying a surfing class! Pretty much a board that’s raised and wobbly, from what I can understand. IDK I think this will keep me motivated since I’ll be doing different workouts throughout the week. I took a picture of me in my new Cabo swimsuit yesterday (YIKES) and will take another one once a month for the next year. Ready to see some real results!

Money is becoming a scary thing to me, though. I’m really wanting to get into my career and find out what I’m good at. Ohh, and making more money but, it’s hard with all the travel plans we have in the spring annnd I can’t stop spending my hours at work on Pinterest and theknot.com. Good thing I work for my dad…

The new place is wonderful. I’ve never lived in a luxury apartment before so I feel super fancy and our dogs have a dog park right downstairs. We’re the first people to live in the unit our view is THE.BEST. Photo >

The Dallas skyline is definitely one of my favorites, especially at night with all the colors and lights! I’ll have to take a night photo soon. It’s better because then you can see the construction below us! haha, yikes. More apartments but, they won’t block our view, luckily. Living together has been nice. My commute is way longer and more annoying but, I honestly hope to have a new job shortly after our Cabo trip. Maybe before if something comes up. So much opportunity in Dallas so, we’ll see. It’s just nice to come home to Danny every day, instead of my roommate Sarah. Gotta love her but Danny makes my mornings and evenings funnier and more exciting. Date night tonight! I think we’re getting crablegs. Gotta let my muscles rest and, he’s leaving me to go to Vegas for his best friends Bachelor party tomorrow (he doesn’t get married until Labor Day Weekend, odd). Loving Dallas living with my fiance so far!

I’ll try and update more often so these entries aren’t so damn long!! I do still login to read but hardly have energy to write Thanks for all the congrats, y’all are too kind. I’m very happy :)
