Magicians Get Bigger Hats in Ponderings of the Universe

My school schedule is so silly. Since vet school started, I’ve mostly had classes 5 days per week, generally all day from 8am to 5pm, with some variation and some shorter days. Spring semester of third year is usually a weirder semester because there are a lot of electives and they try to take it a little easier on us because we go right onto clinical rotations at the end of the semester. I have even fewer classes than I should since I completed some last year before having to do my medical leave of absence. For the first half of the semester, I’ve got anywhere from 1 to 3 days off per week. So weird! Until the end of the month, I only have 2 classes going on. SO WEIRD! Not that I’m complaining. I love days off. It helps ease the awkwardness and weirdness of not really knowing anyone in my class.

I had today off and I was wonderfully lazy. I don’t have any homework yet (aside from something for dermatology but that’s due in 2 weeks) and no tests to study for. I slept in, had a slow morning, had tea, ate a muffin, hung out with the critters, and did my exercises for today. It was lovely. Looking forward to having Friday and Monday off! Yay long weekend!

I woke up with the weirdest thing going through my head this morning. It started out with someone asking “Why a magician?” The response was quite logical.

“Because you get to wear a bigger hat than when you’re Jewish”

Alright, then :P
