Another incredibly exciting day in the land of leftovers.

Breakfast: Eggs, broccoli, and guac

Lunch: turkey blueberry burger, zucchini soup, guac, kiwi.

I did actually have something different for dinner. Though it was kind of junky, too. :/ I breaded chicken strips in almond flour and baked those with a side of roasted sweet potato. The almond flour had an interesting texture. I maybe should’ve tried cooking them on the stove so they were a little crispier. I also definitely could’ve seasoned the flour more....I got lazy because when I shut the fridge door after grabbing the chicken, a bottle of wine fell from the top of the fridge and shattered. It took me forever to clean up, AND now I have to break the news to Callie that the wine she won at her holiday work party is no more. The post-wine clean up laziness is also why I didn’t have any veggies. I was going to roast zucchini with the sweet potato, but that didn’t happen. (Yes, I know technically sweet potato is considered a veggie, but ever since I started learning about healthier ways to eat, I refuse to consider it a veggie. I really think that’s for the best.)

Oh, I also had a banana post workout today. I put in the Biggest Loser Cardio max dvd and let Bob Harper kick myself. First time in a long time. I’m totally going to feel these lunges tomorrow. But I need to get more active so I can actually lose some weight with this Whole30. It’s hard to tell if anything is coming off, but I’m always terrible at seeing weight loss on myself. Or even feeling it in my clothes.

Okay…I think I’m off to bed early. I’ve been dragging ass the last two days. I would like work to not be torture tomorrow, and I have a hotline shift afterwards. So old lady bedtime it is.
