And I'm done with friend's kids. They have gone home and won't be back until next time they need back-up childcare.

We certainly had a busy two and a half days, we made salt dough baskets and painted them autumn colours, we baked bread and we carved pumpkins. That would be six pumpkins, they were designed and carved by ages 1, 2, 5, 7, 8 and 10. They shared the tools and did the majorityof work themselves and helped one another out. It was a good end to what started out as a nightmare. It took middleist a while to realise that whinging is the best way to jot get a reaction. Eldest realised that I couldn't be wound up and am, in fact, pretty intelligent. Youngest, well he was just his usual self! Tomorrow is toy library with just ma girls and Libby, who I adore immensely.

I'm trying to motivate myself to get the pumpkin carved....but Sam's in a withered heap in front of Batman and Eva is whining because 'pumpkin guts are grooooooossssss, I'm not touccccccching them!'. Eh.

Enjoy your quieter day tomm! :)

Ha ha, I got a lot of "gross", "disgusting", "I'm not touching THAT!" Etc... But between tally and me we disembowled them all before the hacking started :) x
