I survived my first day back! Huzzah! Having only one two hour class helped quite a bit. I was able to sleep in, too so yay for being well rested. As predicted, the only unoccupied spot I could find at a glace was in the front. Ah, well. I ended up between a guy who seems even more awkward and quiet than I am, which suits me fine, and a girl who talks the perfect amount when we have small group discussions, but hasn’t otherwise said much of anything, which I’m also OK with. Cristin, the girl who had the baby, came up during a break and we caught up a bit, which was nice.
The bad thing about being in the front is the classroom’s construction. It’s in the attic of a renovated barn so the setup is weird. The projector placement makes it so, if you’re in the front, you essentially have to look straight up to see them. I anticipate my neck becoming displeased. Ah, well. Hopefully that’ll end up being my permanent spot so I don’t have to stress about that silly thing again.
