Don't mind me, I'm just in money-making mode. And it's addicting! lol in Life as a Mom of 2 boys.....and a girl!!

So now that the Christmas season is officially over it’s back to our regular routines at our house just with a few new toys lol. I’m really loving the different sets of samples of teas that I got for Christmas. There’s 45 different kinds for me to try and I’ve probably only tried about 12 so far. They’re from David’s Tea and I’ve pretty much enjoyed all 12! I’m writing notes on what I think of each flavor so in the future I can buy myself bigger versions of my favorite flavors. I got 4 sample boxes. 3 of the boxes have 12 different kinds of tea in it and enough for about 3 cups of each. The 4th box has 9 different kinds but the tins are much bigger. I can’t even guess how many cups they’d do each. Probably 20? I was telling a friend how much fun I’ve been having trying them all out and she sounded really jealous and said she didn’t get anything really fun for Christmas so I ordered her one of the sample sets and had it mailed to her as a surprise. She cried when she got it because it was so unexpected and made her feel loved she said lol.

I started counting calories again as of January 1st (so cliche I know lol) because I want to actually LIKE how I look in my summer clothes when we go to Florida on February 20th. My weigh in day isn’t until Thursday but I’ve probably lost around 4lbs already and am hoping to have lost 12-15 by the time the trip gets here. It hasn’t been too difficult to restrict myself. I’ve been so busy with keeping up with housework, watching the kids and selling Jamberry that I sometimes forget to eat. Also, I’m losing my mind lately because Cody and Miles must be both having a growth spurt at the same time right now because they are literally hungry ALL THE TIME. Cody is almost 3.5 and Miles is almost 1.5 and they say your kids generally have growth spurts every 3 months so maybe that’s it. Yesterday we had to go to the passport office to hand in their passport forms and Cody started whining that he was hungry in the car and I wanted to scream. I was like “Omg Cody! You’ve eaten more than I have today! How are you POSSIBLY hungry?” It gets a tad bit ridiculous sometimes…I’m trying to give them more protein and things that will fill them up but they’re not big on meat so it can be a challenge. But yeah, they want to eat like 6 meals a day lately and it’s hard because they will FREAK OUT if they get hungry without having any patience and it’s not so fun preparing a meal for screaming, crying children lol.

My Jamberry business is still going really well and I’m loving it! My sponsor really helps inspire us and gives us lots of great ideas to generate sales and parties. I’m trying to do as many parties as possible right now and sell extra if possible because when we go on our trip we are going away for 10 days and my work doesn’t pay me for that time off. At my work we have the kind of vacation pay where you get a little bit added to every paycheque instead of actual paid vacation days. That’s cool too but hard when you go away and get pretty much a $0 paycheque yet you still have bills to pay as well as need money to spend on your trip. I think I’m going to be fine though because I’m selling a lot this month with Jamberry so far (I recently added my THIRD recruit too!!) and I have also been selling a lot of stuff around the house on the buy and sell facebook group I’m a part of. I just sold about $80 of random stuff around the house and I love making goals so I’m going to make it a goal today to find and put up another $50-$100 worth of stuff we don’t need. I even sold a $25 gift card for Sears recently because I got it from a merchandise return at Christmas and I never shop there so why not get the cash instead? Selling stuff I don’t need or use in the house is so addicting lol. I also have FREE Jamberry wraps on their way to me from hosting my own party so I can sell those for extra money too! I love that. I get free ones all the time and sometimes keep them for myself and other times sell them to ladies in town. If you ever wanted to visit my website here it is again: www.sarahgartley.jamberrynails.net We recently released new wraps for Valentine’s day, St.Patrick’s day and Easter and some of them are really cute!!

Anyways....it’s Tuesday and I LOVE Tuesdays because I don’t work tonight lol. My goals for the day involve finishing the laundry and putting it all away, mailing a package to a customer, working on my 2 Jamberry parties and cleaning this place up a bit. Have a great day everyone :)
