I was leaving class tonight thinking about eyes. I wasn’t thinking about golden eyes, but rather Violet. One of my group partners is a woman named Tara. She is a classic beauty. No ring. Mid 40s I’d have to guess, but I have proved time and time again I have lost all sense of age with women. I thought Lauren was in her 30s at least and it turns out she is only 23.
Oh boy.
Doc puts us in groups to do brainstorming exercises. Since there are 13 students, with 3 men - who’d’ve guessed it my little troika is two girls and me.
Usually I move a chair to the other side of the table to face my group. Tonight Tara moved to the other side.
I had mentioned her to Glenn and he had asked me what color her eyes were. I thought for sure they were Swedish blue - the darker end of the blue eyed spectrum.
Tonight I realized they were actually violet. And I was instantly enraptured.
I couldn’t stop staring. At one point I realized I was staring into her eyes, and she was staring back while the Doc droned on in the background. I was mortified. I smiled and looked away and wished I could find a graceful way to crawl under the table. She just smiled like she was used to it.
I reconfirmed no ring, not that it means a fucking thing in this day and age.. And my eyes kept going back to hers. The prettiest, most fascinating eyes I have ever looked into.
Well. I have her email address. Until class is out on the 27th.
Cassie called just before I headed to class. I kept it light. I am not doing any calling.
I may have just re-realized how small I have let my life become.

Elizabeth Taylor had violet eyes. I know what you mean I knew a woman with violet colored eyes, she was Irish and direct from the old country with dark brunette hair. And they were indeed beautiful.

Sixx AM is outstanding. If you don't have the new album (Modern Vintage) I highly recommend it.
Talk to the girl. Here's a simple question that works every time: Are you single? She says "yes", you're in. She says "no"? You're off the hook and she's not rejecting you, she's just not available.

I was just looking into Sixx A.M. - to see if they had put out another album. "Wake Up Call" on "The Heroin diaries" kills me.
