I’M PREGNANT!!! :DDDDDDDDD
It’s still super early and hasn’t yet been confirmed by the doc (I’m going to call in the AM tomorrow to set up the pee appointment) but according to 3 home pregnancy tests, I am 4 weeks pregnant as of this morning.
Tim was really adamant about having me wait to tell anyone until after hearing the heartbeat, but how the hell did he expect me to keep something like this from my closest friends? I promised him that no one at work, and none of our family would be notified until after the first ultrasound. We had an even harder time dealing with the miscarriage because we told everyone right away, so we’re taking it really slow this time around. Once I know that this little Nymph is safe and sound, then we’ll share the news. I’m pretty sure it’ll be right around my dad’s birthday, too, so that’ll be a fun present for him. (He is DYING to be a grandpa.)
I’m feeling pretty good so far! The exhaustion doesn’t seem to set in until around 7 or 8 at night, and I’m still able to get up at a fairly decent hour. My energy has also been really good and my boobs are just starting to get sore. Hopefully they wont be like they were last time (I couldn’t even take the water pressure from the shower on them) and I’ll be able to hug like a normal person.
Yaaay! Our little one is the size of a sesame seed today! EDD is 9/27/15.
