I’ve been working on a different journal entry that is near completion. In the meantime, I will type a bunch of Prosebox Shorts in attempt to catch up.

I had a Samsung Galaxy S20. After two years of making payments, I called my cellphone provider to inquire about an upgrade. To my disappointment, it was a three-year commitment. Damn phones were so expensive that it took three long years to pay off.

My last payment on the Galaxy S20 was in November.

To be honest, I could’ve kept that phone for another couple of years with no issue. But I went ahead and spent $300 (upgrade fee and tax on two cellphones) for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (basically the modern-day Note.) The Z Flip was enticing. However, I know would’ve dropped it eventually, and probably broken an outer screen.

The Samsung Ultra is just bigger. Probably has chips powerful enough to emit radiation (kidding). Those chips make the touch screen extremely sensitive. I swear, wind blowing on the phone is enough to cause a change on the screen. I have a zoom on the back camera that is nutso. I tested it, and could magnify a mosquito’s eyeball. I’ll never use it. Still interesting.

Movies, though, that’s where I paid the big bucks for! Those camcorder copies before the movies are released in the theaters are going to hit differently from here on out.
