Update

My apologies, I have moved this entry to my private journal, it exposed my family and their issues a bit too much. Even if it's anonymous it felt like I'm betraying their privacy.

I was also pondering adding hashtags or similar to my entries. Usually I'm sharing something to be heard, but occassionally, when I'm stressed, my writing is more of a mindfulness activity. I might start to tag the intent, for reference.

A fresh mini entry lieu of the one removed...

My Dad's house is full of stickers, many were added last year when we had 4 lots of carers coming to the house every day.

Stickers on room doors, drawers and cupboards.. socks, shirts, mugs, big plates, dining room, how Dad takes his tea etc!

And over time the original stickers became vital signposts for my Dad, e.g. when he's drying the pots and can't remember where the bowls go.

Plenty more stickers have been added today and the more I add, the more benefits I notice.

Such as I rearranged the clothing cupboards today and the new labels will now help the carers, my Dad and us find the right shelf or section.

It's awkward, trying to describe step-by-step every day processes that I normally complete on auto pilot too!

But the signposting, the instruction, the clarity all lead to a better experience for all.
