I am a mother. Chloe Lynn was born on Thursday August 21st, 2014 at 2:55am. She was 7lbs 8oz and 20 inches long. She’s a little jaundice but we have been treating with a bill-blanket and formula substitution between trying to breast feed. Today’s bloodwork will hopefully show a lower level and we will be allowed to give back the blanket and try to work with just breast feeding.

She’s amazing. She really is mine and I love her with all my heart. I am so happy I don’t have to give her back like all the children I nannied for. I’m being selfish and not allowing most visitors because I just want her close to me.

Mike’s being a fantastic father and husband. He’s trying really hard even while working and working overtime. Such a blessing.

I’m not posting photos yet because I honestly don’t have time. We have to get ready to go get her bloodwork and it’s an hour away. I can’t drive yet so my MIL is coming to get us.

Pray, wish, hope she can get the hang of breast feeding despite her current trouble due to bottle and pacifier use.
