Improvements.... in Watching Life Fly By

The doctor put me back on Effexor XR. It has helped quite a bit. I get very tired when I first take it so right now I’m taking it with dinner but will push it to bedtime in a few weeks. I am having diarrhea less than once a week now. That’s a HUGE improvement. I still don’t trust my stomach but it is getting better slowly.

Chloe has a cold. She is happy but snotty-nosed. I’m using a cold air vaporizer, nasal spray and suctioning her nose before every bottle, before naps and bed. She’s still smiley, squealing and playing. I might raise the end of her crib so she can sleep at an incline.

A few of my friends had babies the past two weeks. They are all struggling to adjust to motherhood. I’m glad I enjoyed my child from day 1. It seems to be hard for so many mothers. My dear friend had a miscarriage on January 1st. I am devastated for her, it was her 3rd miscarriage. She has 3 living children but desperately wants her 4th baby.

Work is terrible but I go there daily. So glad we had two ice-days last week and today is a holiday. This week should go fast.... 1/2 days Tuesday-Thursday for students and professional development for us each afternoon. Friday is our only “normal” day this week.

Mike is sick. He had a fever yesterday and was just feeling uncomfortable. Praying he is better today after work; he seemed a bit better this morning.
