As promised, here are some pictures from our visit to the Roman baths. It was a good day out, and the boy got really into it. He seems to like history.

So, to other things. The Duke of York is in all kinds of trouble isn’t he? I’m fascinated by this. Of course, he may be completely innocent. Buckingham Palace has issued very strong denials. Though one wonders how the palace knows what he’s been up to. I have to say, if my mother was the queen, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t tell her about hosing under-age girls in orgies on private Caribbean islands owned by convicted paedophiles.
Personally, I think he did it. He was very friendly with Jeffrey Epstein, who has a history of procuring very young girls for the rich and famous. He definitely met the girl in question, since there are pictures of the pair of them on the front page of just about every tabloid. Pretty girl isn’t she. And new little nuggets of news are emerging every day. And lets face it, he has an air of slightly disgusting about him.
The element that fascinates me is the potential damage to the monarchy. It would be too much to hope that Charles could get dragged into this and have to hand over the crown to his son. But lets see what develops. You never know.
