This week was another outstanding week in my life.
On Wednesday, my parents said they would lend me the money for a deposit so I can move through to Gateshead. I'll need to repay them, but I'm not bothered about that. I've already been looking and found a couple of possibilities.
Then on Thursday, I had my formal probation meeting with my TL. During it, he said that the three possible outcomes were dismissal, an extra months probation, or ending my probation. Afterwards, he said that I didn't need to worry and, sure enough, within an hour he confirmed that my probation was over.
Then, Friday was an easy day at work. A couple of nightmare call, but otherwise it was a breeze.
I'm currently watching the closing ceremony of the Winter Olympics. It's been a fun watch with the absolute highlight being the men's ice hockey final. Probably the best hockey game I've ever seen, the USA goalie was outstanding.
