We updated the menu to make it easier to find things. We mentioned a while back that a navigation update was coming, and it’s now live.
Nothing was removed. The same options are still there, just grouped and reordered. Here’s what you’ll see now:
Journal
- New Entry: Write a new entry
- New Book: Create a book to organize your entries
- My Latest Entry: View your most recently published entry
- Drafts: View entries that you’ve saved as drafts
- Entry Search: Search your published entries
Bookmarks
- Unread Bookmarks: Entries you haven’t read yet from people you follow
- Latest Bookmarks: One most recent entry from each person you follow
- All Bookmarks: View all the entries from people you follow
Community
- Comments Received: Comments others left to you
- Comments Sent: Comments you’ve left to others
- Friends: People you’ve marked as friends (they can see your “Friends Only” entries)
- Following: People you follow
- Friend Of: People who have added you as a friend (you can see their “Friends Only” entries)
- Browse Users: Search and browse user profiles
- Blocked: People you’ve blocked
Account
- Profile: View your profile
- Settings: Manage account preferences.
- Personalize: Change your theme and appearance settings
- Import: Import entries from Open Diary
- Subscribe: Purchase subscription to remove ads
- Manage Subscription: Manage your existing subscription
- Sign Out: Log out of your account
We’ll also be updating the home page (before you sign in), the sign-in page, and the new-user welcome flow soon to make things clearer for new members and faster for everyone else.
