Our three days in Oslo were fun.
There were some very cold days, but we were prepared. Our hotel was very high up and had a view of the city that almost looked fake. It was never sunny enough to get a good picture. It does always seem that without proper camera equipment you can never get a snapshot that does any justice for what you’re actually seeing. Especially when there is no sunlight to help.
Anyway we are back on American soil. It’s always great to be home. I’m excited for the USA vs Canada hockey game. It was nice to see the women get the gold medal. Hopefully the men’s team can do the same. I watched a lot of Olympics on TV while I was away. I have to admit I never watched women’s ice hockey before this year’s Olympics. It sounds like it would not be enjoyable to watch, but women are so nimble and good at ice skating that it makes the game very fun to watch.
