This morning I was wandering around the kitchen trying to decide what to make for dinner. I rarely wait until dinnertime to start cooking, I prefer to cook in the morning.
I pulled out the crockpot and the only meat we have in the freezer is a pork loin. So I threw that in. Then I threw in a jar full of homemade chicken bone broth (which I've been making nonstop, that's another entry). I threw in a frozen bag of homemade tomato sauce (from the garden). I threw in a homemade chili seasoning mix. Then I added a can of black beans, a can of kidney beans, and a can of garbanzo beans. I let it all cook for 8 hours, by that point the pork just fell apart and shredded as I mixed it.
I threw some sweet potato fries in the oven and there, dinner's done. And it's SO SO SO GOOD.
And gluten and dairy free, too. :) Liam ate a lot. Joshua never eats. So he didn't eat much.
