I haven’t written about this in a while and wanted to share my progress. For someone who was told that I would never again have any bladder control, I’m pretty excited about the changes that have happened over the last two months. Two months ago I was wearing adult diapers 24/7 and saw no end in sight.
I don’t wear diapers at all anymore. I feel like I have full bladder control when I am awake. I have difficultly holding a full bladder, so I pee frequently during the day. I have had accidents, but I have learned from them and I think they’ve made me better understand what I have to do to prevent them.
During the night, I find I have less control. I pee at night regularly, but not always. I don’t wear diapers to bed because I just like the idea of being free of them, but I do wear Poise pads and that has prevented leaks for the most part. When the baby wakes me up in the night I always take the opportunity to pee, and just like during the day, the more often I pee the less likely I am to wet myself.
I really feel like I was blessed. I don’t know how else to say it.
