This may sound ridiculous, but today I am trying to stick to a promise that I’m making to myself. I got up early so that I could get on the computer at home and read my junk and send my personal e-mail so that I won’t waste any time at work doing stuff I shouldn’t be doing!
I find myself sneaking on here or checking out other pages during my workday, and I’m so behind at work it’s not even funny! I’ve been using it as a little break from reality, but it’s so easy to get caught up on here or searching for things….I end up spending way too much time “escaping” the fact that I’ve got to get my butt in gear at work!
They let some more people go at work, and someone mentioned the fact that one guy I know got promoted out of his range of capabilities, and they just watched him fall on his face only to get “fired” or whatever they’re calling it these days.
THAT COULD BE ME if I don’t get my hiney in gear!
So yes, you could say that I’m freaking out!!
From now on, all this personal stuff will wait until I’m in the comfort of my own home.
From now on….nose to the grindstone!!!
