Ladies’ Night in Milan! in Open Diary 2001-2018 (Pre-Prosebox)

I can’t believe that we Americans have actually missed out on a Hallmark opportunity. Did you know that March 8th is something called Ladies’ Day in Europe (and possibly other parts of the world too)?

I’m here in Milan now. Got hookup, but who knows for how long. It’s around 2:30am and I’ve got to hit the hay because we’re working bright and early tomorrow. Yes, we work all weekends when we travel.

But I didn’t want to forget to write about Ladies’ Day. It’s a day when all women are honored. I guess it’s like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and all that jazz. But women get flowers and get treated wonderfully (or they are supposed to on this day). I actually got three bouquets of these beautiful yellow flowers from random guys today! Aaaaah! I can feel the love here!

Amore, I guess!

I am lying here in my bed as I type. My windows open out to the Central Station where we catch the metro. The windows are open, letting in a nice, cool breeze. The weather was incredible here today.

I just got back from this great big disco. I have been groped, kissed, grabbed, kissed some more, and squeezed. I’ve been called beautiful and been kissed some more. I danced until my feet turned blue. I am exhausted. I am completely and utterly happy at this moment in time.

What a wonderful day!! Much, much more to follow. Ciao.
